According to a new report from Newsmax, with all the ballots counted, Republican Claudia Tenney has held on to her lead against Democrat incumbent Rep. Anthony Brindisi in one of the closest contests in the nation.
Per Newsmax “The rematch between Tenney and Brindisi — who unseated her by about 4,500 votes in 2018— is the second closest in the nation. The closest is in Iowa’s 2nd District, where Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks leads Democrat Rita Hart by 47 votes as the race is now being recounted.
It’s almost three weeks since Election Day and Republicans are still winning races, chipping away at Pelosi’s majority. Congrats to Rep. @claudiatenney on her hard fought victory! https://t.co/B3BPK2yPN3
